FUNDRAISING - ECO-CULTURAL TOUR 2009
HCF Trip to Meru, Kenya
February 13th - March 1st 2009

12 travelers from Long Island, led by board members Larry Hohler and Kevin Mann, journeyed to Kenya on February 13th to see our children and get involved with their lives.

For the next two weeks the group visited the schools that our children attend, helped to construct the Manual Training Centre that will serve the needs of our older children, and spent time working and playing with the young people we care for.

Members of the group came home with a heightened understanding of the problems facing these children, and the tremendous potential they possess.
